Tourism Whitsundays is the Regional Tourism Organisation for the Whitsunday Region. We are the peak marketing body, promoting this wonderful destination around Australia, and to the world.

Tourism in the Whitsundays accounts for over 70% of the local economy, representing $522 million in direct expenditure. Tourism has a multiplying effect on an economy so whether you are directly or indirectly involved in tourism, local businesses generate $1.3 billion as a result of tourism.

Tourism Whitsundays invites you to join the other 300 local businesses that are members of Tourism Whitsundays and support the marketing of your region.

With your membership funds being invested in the marketing, promotion and development of the Whitsundays to ensure a healthy tourism economy, Tourism Whitsundays core function is to ensure that members and visitors alike are welcomed and informed about the variety of business and activity surrounding this region.
