The clubs major fund raiser is our Invitational Catch & Release Fishing Tournament which is proudly supported by Carlton United Brewery. The tournament is held in October each year and all competitors must fish with the 15 kg Bully Braid that is supplied. The tournament is restricted to 35 teams each made up of two anglers. The major challenge for each angler is how to fight and land a metre long Barra before it entangles your lure and line in the submerged timber that remains standing throughout the western side of the dam. |
