The Whitsundays is a great place to travel. With 74 gorgeous islands and sparkling turquoise waters, it’s no wonder half a million people visit this haven each year. We had the pleasure of having Killian and Li-Chi (Fluffpiece) visit the Whitsundays. Read about their wonderful experience in the Whitsundays sleeping overnight on a boat in the waters or flying over the Great Barrier Reef. What’s more, they’ve captured some of the most memorable moments of his visit. You can experience it for yourself by perusing the blog post written by Fluffpiece below or booking your flight and visiting the Whitsundays to see it in person.[KA1]

As the title suggests, I'm definitely a fan and a lover of the Whitsundays up in Queensland having visited for the first time! The Whitsundays is located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef (did you know you can see it from outer space!) on the Queensland coast and lies 74 islands. Most of the islands are uninhabited national parks minus 4 islands, and one of those islands we'll be visiting—Hamilton Island.
Flying in on a Friday morning, we departed the gloomy stormy front of Sydney and landed in a beautiful sunny summer Hamilton Island, this is considering that it's the end of Autumn with Winter around the corner, the weather was so warm and cool (t-shirt time!).
With amazing food and scenery that the Whitsundays has to provide, let me take you through a visual journey of it and hope that you too can experience it in person—from brunch at Manta Ray, through scenic flights with Air Whitsundays, #gobareboating and sleeping overnight on the waters, fine dining at Bommie.
