Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet

The crystal-clear aqua waters and pristine silica sand of world-famous Whitehaven Beach stretch over seven kilometres along Whitsunday Island, the largest of the 74 islands in the Whitsunday group. It defines nature at its best; it's no surprise it often tops best beaches list the world over, experiencing Whitehaven Beach provides an amazing sense of relaxation and escape.

Horseshoe Bay, Bowen
Horseshoe Bay is Bowen's most iconic beach and a favourite for locals and visitors alike, regularly topping best beaches lists.
The beach is framed by two granite outcrops which provide a haven for an excellent range of fish and coral just a short swim from the beach. The bay's fringing reef is a top spot for divers and snorkellers and for a small fee, snorkelling equipment can be hired from the Horseshoe Bay Resort.

Hydeaway Bay Beach
Hydeaway Bay Beach is located on the coast of the Whitsundays, around 45 minute's drive north of Airlie Beach.
A lovely sandy beach over 1.5 kilometres long it boasts endless views across the water to Gloucester Island, Saddleback Island and many more. The beach is fringed with shady trees and the rocks at the end make for excellent exploring. Be sure to bring your fishing rod if you want to try your luck at catching dinner!

Boathaven Beach
Boathaven Beach is situated on the peninsula near the Port of Airlie, it boasts soft white sand with a stunning northerly aspect.
The area's first true all-tide beach, Boathaven Beach is a lovely spot for swimming, sunbathing and lapping up the views of the ocean and islands. Boathaven Beach is a short walk to the Airlie Beach Esplanade, where you can stop for a bite to eat or a drink at the end of a relaxing day.
