Australian Tourism Data Warehouse


Tourism & Events Queensland and Tourism Whitsundays work jointly with the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW), a ‘data warehouse’ that collects and feeds data to other tourism websites – including our major tourism portal Tourism Whitsundays. Your product information cannot appear on unless you are an ATDW member. By becoming a member of ATDW your tourism business information will be available to an expanding network of tourism websites and distributors.


The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is Australia’s primary resource for tourism businesses to get their information online. It is a centralised national database which feeds information on your tourism business into a network of up to 60 websites, including Tourism Whitsundays, Tourism & Events Queensland and Tourism Australia’s consumer websites, and

Additionally, your business will be included in the Queensland Holiday iPhone Application (which has been downloaded more than 150,000 times!).

Product categories stored within the ATDW system include accommodation, attractions, restaurants tours, hire, transport and events (there is no cost to list an event in the ATDW).
