  • Airlie Beach

The best holidays don’t always start with a packed itinerary. Sometimes, they start with a sunrise from your balcony, a great coffee and a few glorious hours with absolutely nowhere to be.

For day one, Chief Icon Officer Isabella Esparza embraces the slower side of Airlie Beach, with long lunches, lazy afternoons, good food and a little after-dark fun thrown in for good measure. Consider this your official permission to take it easy.

    6:30AM: Catch the Sunrise

Start the holiday the right way with sunrise views from your Elementa Whitsundays apartment. No alarm-induced sprinting, no rushing out the door. Just you, the morning light and the Coral Sea doing what it does best. Looking gooooood.

7AM: Coffee & Breakfast on Airlie Beach Main Street

Once you’ve soaked up the view, wander into Airlie Beach for coffee and breakfast. With plenty of cafés and local eateries to choose from, the hardest part is deciding where to start.

    11:30AM: A Little Self Care

You’ve made it this far without doing anything strenuous. Keep up the good work. Head back to Elementa for a little R&R; think a long soak in the bathtub, a good book and nature views. Say less.

    1PM: Gourmet Lunch, Gourmet Views

All that self-care is hungry work. Make the most of your fully equipped Elementa kitchen and settle in for a leisurely lunch on your balcony, where the midday views are very much part of the menu.

  • Gelato

    7PM: Korean BBQ & Gelato

Airlie Beach has no shortage of dinner options, but Isabella couldn’t go past Korean BBQ for a warm, comforting feed after a day of serious R&R. Then, naturally, it's time for a sweet treat. Finish the night with a scoop of gelato before heading back out into the evening.

  • Airlie Beach Ferris Wheel

    8:30PM: Airlie Beach Ferris Wheel

You've seen Airlie from the street. You've seen the port from the balony. Now it's time to take Airlie Beach to new hights (literally) and try the skyline ferris wheel at Fairy Tree Park. A pretty solid end to a relaxing first day.
