Finding Camp Island
Camp Island is the second most northerly island in The Whitsundays, a 25-hectare private retreat situated 3 kilometres offshore in Abbot Bay. Access is by complimentary boat transfer from Elliot River at Guthalungra (20 minutes, tide-dependent) or helicopter from Townsville (45-60 minutes). Guthalungra is two hours from Townsville Airport or 90 minutes from Proserpine Airport. The lodge features four luxury villas that host up to eight guests, with Cape Upstart National Park as a backdrop. On-site managers curate exclusive experiences, from guided kayaking to harvesting fresh oysters for seafood feasts in your private island kitchen.
