Getting Around The Mainland

Most tours, restaurants, and attractions are within walking distance of Airlie Beach accommodation, and many tour operators provide coach pick-up from hotels. Public buses connect Airlie Beach, Proserpine, and Shute Harbour, timed to meet flights. Local shuttles, taxis, and rideshare services run throughout the area. Having a car is helpful for exploring the wider region, including Bowen, Cedar Creek Falls, Conway National Park, or mainland beaches outside the main tourist area.
