Board the Lady Enid at Coral Sea Marina and sail through the Whitsunday Islands. Spend the day on a classic timber yacht with Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet, and the turquoise water of the islands stretching out in every direction.
Make your way to Coral Sea Marina in the morning for boarding. Lady Enid is a classic gaff-rigged schooner, all polished timber and white sails, and one of the most photographed boats in The Whitsundays. Settle in on deck as the crew sets sail through the islands.
Lady Enid anchors at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach and the crew guides you ashore for the short bushwalk up to Hill Inlet Lookout. From the top, the view opens up to swirling white sand and turquoise water shifting with the tide below. It's one of Australia's most photographed spots, and it's even better in person.
Back down at the beach, kick off your shoes and walk the white silica sand. Whitehaven stretches seven kilometres along Whitsunday Island, soft underfoot, impossibly white, and lapped by water so clear it barely looks real. Swim, float, or just sit and take it in. The Lady Enid crew will have lunch ready on board when you return.
As the afternoon light softens, Lady Enid raises her sails for the return journey through the islands. Settle back on deck with the day's sunburn and salt in your hair, watching the Whitsunday Islands slide past. The yacht glides back into Coral Sea Marina as the sky turns gold.
