A steep island climb on Hamilton Island through shaded forest to a rocky summit with wide views across The Whitsundays. The path is well signed and well maintained, with the final section being the steepest. Sunrise is especially rewarding. Start early, carry water and wear sturdy footwear. Dogs are not permitted.
