Stonehaven Bay
Stonehaven Bay sits on the north western side of Hook Island and offers easy access to fringing reef and scattered coral bommies in clear, generally calm water.
Public moorings at the northern and southern ends keep boats off coral and make entry points straightforward. Snorkelling typically reveals hard coral gardens with reef fish in good numbers, and visibility is often best in light winds and on gentler tides. The bay’s headlands and small coves provide options to suit the day’s conditions.
