Part of Queensland's statewide initiative, this free online training helps you understand the region better so you can confidently share what makes the Whitsundays unique.

This free, online training program helps tourism operators, hospitality staff, event teams, volunteers and locals build the skills and confidence to deliver warm, inclusive and memorable experiences.

Each program is tailored to one of Queensland's 13 tourism regions, weaving in local stories, culture and products to reflect the unique spirit of each destination.

Who Can Participate?

Anyone who welcomes or assists guests plays a vital role in creating positive experiences: accommodation providers, tour and marine operators, sailing and charter crews, restaurants, cafés, bars, retail and visitor services, events and experience providers, volunteers and community groups.

The 1.5-hour training features short modules on world-class hosting and guest mindset, accessibility and inclusion, storytelling skills, regional knowledge and cultural awareness, sustainability and responsible travel, as well as local products and experiences unique to the Whitsundays.
