DECEMBER 2026
Ring in 2027 with a bang. Airlie Beach and Bowen traditionally host fireworks on the foreshore at 8:30 pm (for families), and Airlie Beach finishes the year with a countdown and another fireworks show at midnight. The main street is closed to traffic, and the restaurants and bars are buzzing.
