Day two is devoted to the islands, with a full day on the water aboard Thundercat Whitsundays. This itinerary combines time on Whitehaven Beach and the Hill Inlet lookout with snorkelling at fringing reef sites around Hook Island, showcasing some of The Whitsundays' most recognisable locations in a single action-packed day.

Day two: Thundercat
Day two is dedicated to the islands. After checking in with Red Cat Adventures on the main street, board Thundercat at Coral Sea Marina for a full day on the water. The tour visits Whitehaven Beach and the Hill Inlet lookout, with time to swim and walk on the pure silica sand, then continues to the fringing reef around Hook Island for snorkelling among tropical fish and corals. Drinks, snacks and lunch are included, and guests are encouraged to bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and an underwater camera.

Day two: Sunset drinks at Sorrento Airlie Beach
After returning to Coral Sea Marina in the late afternoon, many travellers wander up to Sorrento in the marina precinct. This local favourite overlooks the harbour and is ideal for wood-fired pizza, sunset drinks and watching the yachts return to their berths, rounding out a big day of island exploring.
